The Continuum is a regional center for education and training in innovative and technical skills and workforce development, created through the collaboration between The Darla Moore Foundation, Florence-Darlington Technical College and Francis Marion University.
Francis Marion University (FMU) offers dual enrollment courses to students in partnering high schools through its Dual Enrollment Program. This program gives qualified students the opportunity to receive college credit for courses while still in high school. Courses are offered at the Continuum, online and in various partnering high schools.
Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) offers classes at the Continuum to dual credit high school and traditional college students. FDTC provides post-secondary public education in various disciplines. Our mission is to provide the region with affordable, comprehensive and technical education emphasizing curriculum and continuing education courses.
The FMU Kelley Center for Economic Development is dedicated to the economic growth of the region through business incubation, small business outreach, and various regional economic development initiatives. The Kelley Center has a proven track record of business incubation and for supporting regional start-up and existing businesses through small business assistance.
